"I'd Rather Work": Interviews with Philadelphia Unemployment Project
Labor Justice Radio reporter Amendu Evans recently interviewed representatives of Philadelphia Unemployment Project (PUP) about their role in fighting joblessness. Frank Wallace, who was unemployed for over a year until he recently found work through PUP, spoke about the stress of searching for a job. Ahnivah Williams, an organizer with PUP, shared information about the Way to Work program that is offering jobs to Philadelphians. This story includes their full, unedited interviews.
