MLK Day: Stand Up for His Legacy
This Monday Media Mobilizing Project is proud to participate in a march and reception initiated by the Occupy Philadelphia Labor Working Group to celebrate Martin Luther King Day.
The event will unite city sanitation and transport workers, hospital workers, postal workers, taxi workers, nurses, teachers, students and everyone struggling for access to jobs, housing and healthcare. Martin Luther King died fighting for economic justice and dignity for all, and we will honor him by coming together across our different fronts of struggle to take up his legacy in this fight for human rights.
Please join us!
