TOMORROW: Demand that Trader Joe's Sign Agreement with Farmworkers

Workers, students and community members from across Philadelphia will gather in front of Trader Joe's tomorrow, Thursday August 4th, to demand that the company sign on to principles of fairness for the farmworkers who pick their tomatoes.

Join us tomorrow, August 4th, at Trader Joe's on the corner of 21st and Market in Center City Philadelphia from 5pm-6pm

This action is part of the Campaign for Fair Food that is being organized by the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, a farmworker organization based in Southwest Florida who have made unprecedented strides in the rights of workers of their region.

The Coalition of Immokalee Workers' organizing has brought nearly the entire fast food industry and many in the food service industry to sign agreements that have increased farmworker pay, working conditions and decision making power in their workplace.
